I sold them here at the herb farm until the publisher told me a year or so ago the book was out of stock and the weak economy prevented them from re-printing a number of their books, including Southern Herb Growing. Beautiful, Creative and Unusual Recycled Glass Night Lights Our very popular Reborn Glass night lights are now even better! With each purchase of a wildlife light shown below, a total of $4.00 will be donated to the Save Our Seabirds non-profit group in Florida. Even though the oil spill tragedy in the Gulf of Mexico is not front-page news anymore, wildlife is still being affected and will be for quite some time. Save Our Seabirds cleans and rehabilitates marine wildlife in the Gulf Coast region and they need our ongoing help to continue their work. Reborn Glass in Cape Coral, Florida has already donated $2.00 per night light when sold wholesale (to us and other retailers). An informative card is included with each light detailing Save Our Seabirds and the donation. In support of this very worthwhile effort Pineywoods Herb Farm is matching the $2.00 per night light donation for each one sold. Please help in this effort! But wait… there’s more! In addition to the wildlife night lights shown above, we carry other Reborn Glass night light styles. Have you ever seen a real classy night light? Once you get out of the Cinderella or Mickey Mouse night light stage it is very difficult to find something that isn’t a cheap, plastic import. When I saw these I KNEW I had to offer them to my customers! Not only are they classy and very eye-catching, they are made out of glass from liquor bottles that have been rescued from high-end hotels along the Florida Gulf Coast, keeping them out of the landfills. I think this is a wonderful, creative and functional way to recycle materials that never break down in our landfills. Reborn Glass night lights make great gifts… who doesn’t need a night light or two in the home? These pictures really don’t adequately capture the beautiful detail in these lights so come on by the herb farm to see them in person, or call me if you’d like more information.
