Upcoming Events

  • Our recently-harvested organic garlic will be available for sale the latter part of June.  It cures in our barn for several weeks then the long tops and roots will be removed, as will any residual dirt clinging to the heads.  When the garlic is ready to sell an email will be sent to the recipients of our monthly email newsletter (see bottom of page to sign up).  Our fresh garlic supply is limited and usually sells out in one day.

PLEASE NOTE:  We take time off in the summer and don't conduct classes.  However, we are open by appointment and our guest cottage is kept fully stocked with culinary herb blends, teas, herbal soap, essential oils, and more.  Please give us a call or email (see Contact page) if you'd like to to set up a time to visit.  We'd love to see you!

Navigate around the site to get acquainted with us.  Lots of pictures can be found on our Flickr page. Hours of operation and how to find us, the Contact page.  Many people ask how we ended up here doing what we are doing... find out on the About page. Classes/ Workshops/Events are very popular here at the herb farm...cheese making, bread baking, soap making, and many others to choose from.  Answers to frequently asked questions can be found on the FAQ page.  Still have a question or two?  Give us a call at 936-655-2416.

While not nearly as exciting as being here at the farm in person, our website can give you a taste of what and who we are and what goes on here at the herb farm. Words and pictures can only go so far when you are describing herbs and herbal products...you really must experience the WONDERFUL AROMAS and INTOXICATING FRAGRANCES by smelling them! How else can you enjoy the fresh piney scent of rosemary, the woodsy aroma of thyme, the tingly blast of mint, or the most unforgettably sweet, old-fashioned scent of lavender?

We offer a wide variety of herb plants - many unusual and not easily found elsewhere such as bay leaf trees, Cuban oregano, several types of passionflower vines, and lavender plants well-suited to our hot, humid environment. We also have native plants and wildflowers, seasonal vegetables, and many plants guaranteed to attract bees, butterflies and hummingbirds to your garden.

Come on out and enjoy all our wonderful fragrances, gourmet delights, quality products, peaceful surroundings, and so much more we have to offer.

We have several large display beds that showcase many types of herbs, wildflowers, Texas native plants, and plants that attract bees, butterflies, hummingbirds and beneficial insects. You are invited to wander around... stroke the herbs to release that fresh burst of heavenly fragrance, watch the wildlife sampling their way from flower-to-flower... it will be an experience you won’t soon forget!

In the guest house you will find a nice selection of gardening and herbal products including all-natural handmade soap, old-fashioned potpourri, our own culinary herb blends, organic teas, and many more unique, quality items. Everything we carry is either made here at the farm or chosen exclusively for its quality, uniqueness, or hand-craftsmanship.
